MISSION STATEMENT
Saratoga Bridges is committed to advocacy for people with disabilities by providing resources that enable them to live enriching lives in the communities where they are valued for their abilities and contributions.
HISTORY
Founded in 1953 by parents who were determined to have a rightful place in society for their children with developmental and other disabilities.
COMPREHENSIVE SERVICES
We offer a full range of professional services to over 830 individuals and families including:
? Clinical: Occupational, Physical and Speech Therapies, Nursing, Nutrition, Psychology, Program Coordination and Social Work.
? Day Services: 450 people receive daily services at 12 Program sites.
? Employment: 130 people are employed in the community through Alpha Career Options, our Supported Work Program. 16 individuals work at the Corinth Pallet and Production Facility.
? Family Support: 278 family members access Annual Autism Expo, Autism
? Legislative Advocacy
? Recreation and Social opportunities
? Residential: 132 people live in 19 homes, Family Care homes and 7 Supportive Apartments
? Service Coordination: 301 persons are assisted
? Transportation: 450 individuals are transported daily to and from employment or programs
ECONOMIC IMPACT
? The 3rd largest non-profit human service agency in Saratoga County, with an annual operating budget of $26.6 million.
? An estimated $23 million is contributed annually to the county economy through wages and local vendors.
? Top 15 largest county employers, with over 550 employees.
? We hold special events to subsidize under-funded programs.
