Cathy is hard to deal with, adversarial and would rather engage in legal exchange rather than solve issues at hand. Problem is Ghislain is the main contact and company main representative that is involved with everything from estimate to project completion. He knows when they need to fix areas of substandard work and agrees to do so only to be over turned by the Power Hungry Cathy. This company would do very well if not for Cathy, they are losing large market share everyday. Cathy's demeanor emulates down to her employees and this unfortunately leads to high turn over. Will never use them again.

How long have you been in business?
We have been serving the Capital Region since the turn of the century, 1999.
What is your primary product or service?
Primarily we are responsible for the wall and ceiling package in commercial construction. Our scope generally includes metal framing, insulation, drywall, taping, acoustical ceilings and fire-safing. We love out-of-the-ordinary framing such as, curved or wave partitions, arches, domes and just about anything an architect can draw. We also specialize in Armstrong architectural products, aluminum trims and reveals, doors and hardware, stretch fabric systems and sound isolation systems.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I am originally from Montreal, QC and I have been actively involved in commercial drywall for over 30 years. High rises and complex architectural designs were the basis of my work in Montreal, and I came here to provide my expertise in completing the most intricate projects.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We provide a quality product, and often set an accelerated pace for the projects we are involved in. Specialty systems and complex design are dominated by the carpenters union. As an open shop company, we provide an affordable service, that often exceeds expectations and meets the highest standards in quality.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Our main office is located near beautiful Saratoga Springs, NY. We also own the second tallest building in Mechanicville, NY and we are preparing it for the influx of people Global Foundries will bring to the area.

Our office is located near I-87. Take exit 16 and head east (heading away from Scotty's/mobile), after ~3 miles you'll reach a traffic light, cross this intersection, our office is located less than a mile on the right, just past Ruggles rd.
What type of payments do you accept?
Typically we accept payments in the form of a check, cash or direct deposit. We work with varying contractors and varying payment schedules and methods, we're flexible.
Which areas do you service?
We are prepared to travel and have team members spread far and wide. We spend most of our time in the Capital Region, though we travel as far north as Lake Placid, South to Newburgh, West to Utica and beyond, and East to Pittsfield, Massachusetts.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
Cathy Morin is the president. I, Ghislain Gagne, am in charge of estimating and our son Jamie manages field operations. We have several foreman's that are responsible for their assigned projects.
What are your hours of operation?
Our office is open 8am-4pm. Job site work begins at 6 or 7am and goes till 3:30. Our crew is ready to work any schedule and are always prepared to work beyond 3:30. We have also worked night shifts on occupied sites.
What is the best compliment anyone can give you?
Everyone always compliments our finish. Our taping crew treats every office space like a custom home. Our ability to frame curves, and domes and arches is unsurpassed, We always use the latest cutting edge products and tools to accomplish any task.
